    Often one has to wonder about this ‘free’ or ‘hand-outs’ type of mentality. Whilst this Zumba may sound exciting because its free, we must ask ourselves some deep rooted questions;

    1. Why are we being given free funding for excercise therapy? Is it that we have been so careless with our eating habits that somebody with money [assuming its 'tax-payers' in this instance]has to sponsor us to stay healthy so we do not get overly obese?

    2. Whilst we live in Aotearoa – can become overly dependent on handouts such as these without even blinking. Is it really a good idea not ask some questions?

    3. Must we not as civilsed society play our part as well and also think of giving back to the community rather than just be takers?

    Above are just some thoughts that springs to mind when we see and read ‘free for all’ services as noted here.

    Come on Luvei Viti…give us a break…this is sounding very childish and petty indeed. To the others out there that need the excercise and can’t afford to go to the gym, get out there with your kids and make use of this opportunity…

  3. Luvei Viti says:

    ok point noted. did not mean to offend anyone. Its just a thought.

  4. Irene says:

    Can I come too – I’m pakeha and retired.

    • Vive says:

      You are most welcome to join Irene…my husband went to a few of the sessions and there were Samoans, Pakehas, Maoris there, so its not just for Fijians….

  5. Sure you can Irene, join in the fun.
