New Fijian Reps for Wellington City Advisory Group

Two Fijian reps were elected on Monday 11 April as members of the Wellington City Council Pacific Advisory Group

The two are:

Tina McNicholas
and
Malakai Tiko

The Pacific Advisory Group helps Pacific people take part in the Council’s decision-making processes, advises the Council on challenges and issues Pacific peoples face and gives advice on policy, planning and activities for Pacific peoples.

Members are elected every three years and must meet residential and ethnicity requirements to represent their own group.
